  I have gone to the White Dress over several years with 5 brides and have also purchased many bridesmaids dresses($$$) The owner is very personable and staff is helpful when not too overwhelmed. (We had an appointment for bridesmaids but had almost zero help- clipping dresses ourselves, hoping this is what the dress would look like) When I got engaged, I thought I have to go to the White Dress! And found my dream dress. But that is what makes the store- their dress selection. I watched brides have awful experiences with seamstresses but still chose to have my dress altered there... and I wish I didn’t! I very specifically asked my seamstress not to take out my dress as I had a goal and vision in mind. I worked my butt off for several weeks knowing I WOULD NOT take out this dress. However, when I went to my second fitting, the dress was taken out. I put it on and was so discouraged and upset, I was in shock of what she did until I left. She will need to take it in and I will never know if I met my goal. I will have another fitting and just pray it will again look like the original. Brides- beware! Find your dress, purchase, and leave!!
